    10:13:00 p.m. 3/23/2016 |(Voice ofIraq) - Baghdadannounced Iran 's oil ministry, said onWednesday its readiness to start exporting natural gas to Iraq by next May, indicating it is waiting for the start of the Baghdad necessary infrastructure monument to commence pumping seven million cubic meters of it per day during thenext nine months. The deputy oil minister Iran, Hamid Reza Iraqis, in apress conference held today, and I followed ( the long -Presse), said that "Iran isfully prepared to start exporting natural gas to Iraq by next may , " noting that " the work ofpipelines and installation of the meter station to measure theexported quantities ofgas, has been completed ".he said Iraqis, that" Iran iswaiting for the start of the Iraqi side to erect thenecessary infrastructure on itsterritory to commence pumping seven million cubic meters of natural gas per day over the next nine months. " the director of the national Iranian gas company for export, Ali Reza full, confirmed earlier , on Iran 'sreadiness toexport gas to Iraq, as soon as theguarantee of the recent security side pipeline extending in its territory.he was director ofexternal relations for the company national Iranian gas exports, Azizullah Ramazani, ruled in ( theninth of January 2016), thedirect supply Iraq with gas according to the date of thepossibility ofGeneral defined thecurrent 2016, due to therepercussions of thesecurity situation, likely tobegin processing during thefirst quarter of next year ,2017. It isnoteworthy that Iraq and Iran have signed, in August 2013, on - standing agreement six years, provides for the import ofIraq 's seven million cubic meters of Iranian gas per day, thisfigure rises gradually until itreaches 25 million cubic meters two years later, so take advantage ofit to feed two power plants in Baghdad and three in Diyala, with a line length of 270 km, extending from fields (Pars) south of Iran to reach Iraq.[You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
