    According
to the spokesperson of the Ministry of oil, Sunday, the Ministry aimed
during the new year 2013 to develop production and transportation
systems and export to promote the production and export capacities of
    Iraq, seeking to add 300,000
Barrels in 2013 to current exports and
support its position in OPEC, oil expert said that the production levels
achieved and that have not reached the levels posted in early rounds of
licenses they considered successful logistical level.

    Assem
Jihad said in a press release that the Ministry of oil "plan to boost
oil exports by 300,000 barrels per day this year and to export rate on a
2 million and 900,000 barrels a day, raising the size of the daily
production of crude oil to up to 3 million and 700,000 barrels a day to 4
million barrels a day next year 2014".

    Jihad said that Iraq
"sought by raising productivity to promote she circled him role in the
Organization of petroleum exporting countries (OPEC) that Iraq is the
second largest petroleum producers at the moment which will be
    strengthened by this data".

Jihad said the Ministry "is seeking
this year to complete and opening more export ports floating to raise
export potential and in the coming years to 5 million barrels a day.

    He
stressed that the Ministry will "completion of phase II of the pipeline
project alternative strategic transport crude oil from Basra in
southern Iraq fields to refineries and power stations in Central and
Northern Iraq, after the first phase opened last year and the second
phase to the modern region of Northwest Iraq.

    He said the
Ministry hoped to announce in the new year 2013 for the fifth round of
licences which will include distinctive soft patches for development
during this round to increase the proven reserves of invading Iraq ".

    Economic
expert said, Abdul Razak Sadiq alabaigi oil "oil increase announced by
the oil Ministry last year achieved according to what the federal budget
Ordinance and that under the previous data, increase energy
productivity are so realistic through the work of global companies to
develop several fields and increase productive capacities".

    That
comes after "the end to the degradation processes of many key productive
fields because of low gas pressure, which is what necessitated work
quickly within the licensing rounds to recaulk and reproduce to levels,
and then work to increase production".

    Alabaigi felt that Iraq
"now and later will work to increase production steadily," he said,
adding that increased export "possible with export capacity system at
present to 3 million and 400,000 barrels do not exploit them to 2
million and 600,000 barrels in a proactive step to increase production".

    Alabaigi
expressed his belief that oil production levels achieved and that have
not reached the levels posted in early rounds of licenses "it considered
successful logistical level increases significantly in fast production
processes and development of domestic oil fields increased significantly
from Iraq oil exports during the last biennium.

    And on
alternative strategic project alabaigi said that the planning for this
project since the 1980s and its implementation delayed but in an
important time in the presence of real threats to close the Strait of
Hormuz or if what regional tension or real conflict with Strait becomes a
    battlefield cannot routinely navigation ".

    "Even in the absence
of Iran's Strait closed a further export port accommodates part of
Iraq's oil exports, is important as well to play an important role in
    feeding refineries and power plants.
