Najaf demanding electricity to "fulfill its commitments"

Demanded the governor of Najaf Luay Yassiri the Ministry of Electricity to "fulfill its commitments" and equipping of the old city with 24 hours of power after the lifting ofprivate generators of them, as he emphasized that near the upper threshold places receives thousands of visitors from inside and outside Iraq every day.
He said Luay al - Yassiri in an interview to the(range Press), " the administration of the province lifted a letter to the Ministry of Electricity demanding the non - inclusion of the old city machining programmed energy, having removed the eligibility generators of bythe ministry vowed not to include near the upper threshold places machining." He called Yasiri ministry " tofulfilling its promise , especially since the province receives thousands of visitors a day from inside and outside Iraq. 'The Iraqi Ministry of Electricity announced on Wednesday the arrival of its production of electric power to more than 14 thousand MW, and while confirming the arrival of the capacity of the energy processed to province Baghdad to the highest level, called on citizens to "rationalize consumption." the Iraq suffers ashortage of electric power since the beginning of the year 1990, but the past three years have seen animprovement in the provision of electric power after the opening of a number of power stations which (Zubaydiah in Wasit and good deeds in Karbala and Alhaidariya in Najaf and the station gas in Maysan and two stations in Diwaniya station al - Sadr in Baghdad, and stations Shatt al - Arab and Rumaila in Basra and the station gas in Kirkuk), where operating hours continue to about 20 private hour with freezing temperatures while shrinking operating hours with high temperatures and increased loads on plants generation during peak times.
