Japan's Nikkei closes higher
The Nikkei average rose on the Tokyo Stock Exchange on Monday, but it is still far from compensating the sharp losses suffered last week as it did not dispel the optimistic survey conducted by the Central Bank of Japan continued on the prospects for export companies concerns.
The Nikkei rose 0.4 percent to close at 18983.23 points, but still close to the lowest level in seven weeks hit on Friday at 18909.26 points.

The broader Topix index of 0.3 percent to 1517.03 points and the Nikkei rose Jah.ba.aks 400 for the same to end the day at 13564.68 points.
