    UN mediator Staffan de Mistura , said on Wednesday that he could resume peace talks between the Syrian government and the opposition in Geneva in July , although it depends on the extent of the progress achieved in the formation of areas "not to escalate."
    The Russian Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that talks between Russia, Turkey and Iran to discuss these areas will be held in the Kazakh capital Astana in early July.

    De Mistura responded to a question whether he had been committed to a deadline on the fourth of June to identify these areas and whether it has reached an agreement about who would be managed and monitored by saying that it did not happen.
