Called on the coalition of the rule of law high Nassif, the Integrity and Justice Commission to complete the investigation of 25 files of corruption in the Ministry of Defense under the minister Khalid al-Obeidi, indicating that there is one file completed investigation of these files that have been forwarded.

It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives, voted in its meeting on 25 August 2016, by secret ballot, to withdraw confidence from the Minister of Defense Khalid al-Obeidi after he earlier voted not to be convinced of the answers to his questioning on charges of corruption.
During his interrogation, al-Ubaidi accused parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri and deputies of the coalition of Iraqi forces of corruption and attempted extortion to pass arms deals and contracts to feed the soldiers and provoked controversy in public opinion.
On September 8, 2016, President Fuad Masoum ratified the removal of al-Obeidi. Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi, Major General of the Anti-Terrorist Authority Mahmoud al-Hayali, was appointed Minister of Defense.
