    The US Treasury Department has announced that it is adding a terrorist movement to the list of terrorist organizations.
    And the movement of good people split from Asaib Ahl al-Haq in 2013 and led by Akram Kaabi.

    The US Treasury Department said the United States had imposed sanctions on the militant Islamist movement of about 10,000.

    The movement is active in Iraq and Syria and is also loyal to Iran. Reuters reported in 2017 that it is helping Tehran find a supply route to Damascus via Iraq, and that its leaders have proven their support for Iran. 

    Washington's concerns about the group are growing. In September, members of the Senate, David Bradio, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, introduced the Iran Terrorist Sanctions Act, which targets it and another group. A similar bill was introduced by a bipartisan bipartisan group in January.

    Al-Kaabi is a cleric whom the US Treasury Department imposed sanctions on in 2008 for threatening the security and stability of Iraq.

    The group of "Asaib Ahl al-Haq" led by Qais al-Khazali on Wednesday condemned the inclusion of the United States in the "terrorist" movement on the terrorism list.

    "The American standards of terrorism are wrong, but often reversed," he said in a statement.     BAGHDAD / Asayeb al-Haq issued a statement on Wednesday on the status of the terrorist movement on the terrorism list, noting that those who kill civilians are Jews and the Saud family is a friend and ally.
    "We condemn the American administration's placing the Islamic Resistance Movement on the terrorism list," the group said in a statement, noting that "American standards of terrorism are flawed and often reversed."
