The head of the Financial Supervisory Board, Salah Nouri, announced Tuesday that it has allocated a difference of 45 billion dinars in pensions to members of the National Assembly and the Governing Council and two parliamentary sessions and ministers from that era.
Nuri said in a statement reported by the official newspaper "morning" and saw it (information), that "the Office of Financial Supervision and the Integrity Commission monitored during the past period, an increase in pensions for members of the National Assembly and the Governing Council and two parliamentary sessions and ministers from that era."
He added, "A joint committee was formed in the Prime Minister's Office, which dealt with this file in all professionalism and confidentiality after withdrawing the files and scrutinizing them."
Nouri explained that “the Committee counted the total increase in the retirement salaries of this segment estimated at 45 billion dinars as differences, and the report was submitted anonymously and based on the pension number and put forward in the Council of Ministers. About one million dinars per month and this difference only for this segment, returned inventories of all the files of retirees, very difficult since the numbers exceed two million and 300 thousand.
