Economist Bassem Jameel announced on Wednesday that the surplus of oil prices will cover 15 trillion of the budget deficit in 2019, which is half the estimated deficit in the budget.
Jameel told the / information / that "the barrel of oil in the budget of 2019 approved by 56 dollars and rose in a few months to 70 dollars per barrel."
He added that "Iraqi oil sold less than Brent global oil by 10%, which indicates the lack of significant revenues from the sale of oil above the price specified in the budget."
