The General Company for Iraqi Fairs and Commercial Services, one of the formations of the Ministry of Commerce, announced the opening of the first Iraqi and international industries forum and exhibition in Sulaymaniyah 10-13/8/2021, organized by Saqr Al-Dhahabi Company in conjunction with the National Industries and Investment Exhibition organized by Atlas Al-Aseel Company on Land of the Sulaymaniyah International Fair, with the participation of major Iraqi and international companies.
The company stated in a statement received by Mawazine New, a copy of it, that "the exhibition is under the patronage of the Minister of Industry and Minerals Manhal Al-Khabbaz and under the patronage of the Minister of Industry of the Kurdistan Region," while the Director General of the Exhibition Company Sarmad Taha Saeed stated that "this exhibition with the participation of more than 45 companies from the Ministry of Industry." Industry, minerals, private sector companies, the participation of the al-Abbas's (p) threshold and the Federation of Iraqi Industries.
He added, "The exhibition witnessed the display of various products, which include electrical appliances, infrastructure devices, medicines, communications companies, information technology, foodstuffs and other exhibits," noting that "this exhibition was attended by those interested in the industry and that it will allow citizens to purchase national products through direct sales."
He pointed out that "the exhibition is a great opportunity for the participating Iraqi companies to display their products in the market, which is considered one of the most promising markets, in addition to opening up to Iraqi businessmen and merchants in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate."
And he indicated that "the exhibition company in the region took upon itself a commitment to the exhibition organizing company to take all precautionary and health measures and to provide the necessary materials and supplies from fogging and sterilization devices to prevent the spread of the Corona virus during the duration of the exhibition and according to the directives of the Crisis Cell and the Ministry of Health and Environment."
