Earth News/ The General Authority of Customs stressed today, Sunday, the revitalization of the role of investigations and combating smuggling, during a meeting held at the authority's headquarters, in the presence of the directors of the customs areas and a number of directors of the departments of the authority's headquarters.
The authority stated in a statement, received by Earth News, that "the director of the authority, Shaker Al-Zubaidi, focused during the meeting on supporting the customs employee and providing him with full support to perform his duty in the best way."
And she added, "Al-Zubaidi directed the need to focus on a number of topics, the most important of which are: -
1 Activating the investigation work in all directorates and combating smuggling with precise and strict measures.
2 Examination of customs permits.
3 The issue of marketing to the dry port and its role in dealing with smuggling.
4 Follow up on forged permits.
5 Emphasis on bringing the health of the breasts.
6 Follow-up of the Authority's activity in the audit aspects.
7 Discussing the problems of the customs areas directorates and the role of the authority in providing the required facilities and cooperating with institutions in that.
