Al-Nujaifi warns of the outbreak of a "civil war" in Iraq and calls for an emergency parliamentary session
Shafaq News/ Osama al-Nujaifi, the Secretary-General of the United Iraq Party, warned on Sunday of the outbreak of a civil war in the country due to the exacerbation of the political crisis, calling for an emergency session of Parliament and setting a date for early elections to avoid any possibilities that lead to negative results.
Al-Nujaifi said in a statement today that the inability, failure, and dangerous escalation of the political crisis afflicting the country heralds dire possibilities, including civil war.
He added that a return to the people is achieved by holding an emergency session of the House of Representatives whose mission is to reconsider the election law, change the commission, and set a date for early elections. .
