[rtl]In Kuwait's latest response to the Iraqi Federal Court's decision, it claimed that ownership of the natural resources in the submerged area adjacent to the Saudi-Kuwaiti divided zone, including the entire Durra field, is joint ownership between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait only.
Kuwait, and through the Gulf Cooperation Council, made it clear that it possesses full rights to exploit the wealth in that region, declaring its categorical rejection of any new arrangements regarding this field or the submerged area adjacent to the region divided by its designated borders between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait, and that no party other than Kuwait and Saudi Arabia have rights in those areas, rejecting what it called any A violation that affects Kuwait’s sovereignty and its reserve of its right to respond according to legal channels.
