Al-Husseini expressed his thanks and appreciation to the International Agency and its cadres supporting Iraq/the management of the Environmental Radiological Monitoring and Early Warning Program for their great cooperation in supporting the Center’s efforts in this vital field, especially since the aspects of cooperation between Iraq and the International Agency are witnessing an important development through the International Atomic Energy Agency’s support for many programs in Iraq includes supporting the infrastructure and building the Iraqi capabilities of the regulatory and executive bodies working in this field.”
It is noteworthy that Iraq has 21 systems, and thus the number will double to cover new areas for radiation monitoring and radiological environmental monitoring.
