Conference to update the Arab Contractors financing system

Arab Contractors Federation organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Public Works and Housing in the Sultanate of Oman , " the first Arab Scientific Conference for renovation financing Contractors regime in the Arab world" to discuss the funding challenges faced by the Arab construction sector, and the establishment of partnerships between contractors , grouped under the umbrella unions of Arab in implementation of the projects.
Said President of the Union Fahd Mohammed Al Hammadi , in a press statement released on Friday: that the reports issued by some sources specialized in the Arab world has shown that the construction sector is witnessing challenges and complexities that exist without direct support from the governments of the Arab states factors.
He pointed out that construction companies are facing financial and economic burdens of the states, and you have to get out of the market as a result bear these burdens and losses accumulated to lack of access to funds in exchange for work done from the projects.
He hoped that the conference in the Jordanian capital Amman on 25 next month in finding solutions to the many challenges facing the Arab construction sector solutions contribute, noting that the EU cooperation with some scientific offices and the support of many international banking institutions issued the results of a number of developing Fiscal Studies financing system for contractors in the Arab world , taking advantage of some successful international experiences.
Hammadi said that more than 53 percent of Arab construction companies, is facing challenges related to liquidity, and that a decline in the pace of the physical activity and the size of government spending on infrastructure projects, to exacerbate the situation faced by the construction sector.
He stressed that the matter requires further discussion and cooperation and partnerships between construction companies in the Arab world to benefit from the registrar of the market and other activity and time period to another, as well as improving their ability to compete abroad.
