Quoted "Reuters" news Turkish media, Erdogan confirmed by the authorities to isolate 107 judges and prosecutors, and later arrested under the pretext of suspicion of links to the failed coup attempt in July 2016.

The Supreme Council of Judges and Prosecutors dismissed 107 judges and prosecutors, according to agency Anatolia, bringing to 4238 the total number of judges dismissed as part of the campaign carried out by the authorities in the institutions of government since the coup attempt against supporters of the cleric Fethullah Gulen.

The agency said that the judges and prosecutors dismissed Friday issued arrest warrants against them.

The authorities dismissed Erdogan since the coup attempt and so far about 145 thousand government officials and the military, police and academics.

The latest campaign comes to the dismissal of judges in the midst of restructuring the judiciary in the wake of the constitutional referendum, which expanded the powers of Erdogan on April 16 / May. jh
