    accused the United States , the Syrian government to establish the Holocaust in a military prison near Damascus to get rid of the bodies of thousands of prisoners who were killed by the Syrian authorities.

    The US State Department published satellite images of what it said it burnt in Sednaya prison , which said the United Nations and human rights groups that thousands of prisoners were tortured and hanged it.

    Jones said : "Starting from 2013, the Syrian regime was amended building inside Sednaya prison compound to convert it to what we believe the Holocaust."

    Jones said information Washington came from humanitarian organizations have credibility, noting that about 50 people were executed every day in Sednaya prison.

    Jones said : "Although the atrocities documented system, but we believe that the Holocaust was built in an attempt to cover up the extent of the mass killings in Sednaya."

    Jones did not give an official estimate of the number who were eliminated in Sednaya, but quoted Amnesty International as saying that about 13 thousand prisoners may be executed in Sednaya prison since the start of the Syrian uprising in 2011.

    Jones said that the Syrian regime of President Bashar al - Assad was arrested between 65 thousand 117 thousand people period between 2011 and 2015.
