The Jordanian monarch King Abdullah II said that terrorist groups do not represent Islam and do not live on its margins, pointing out that the terrorists are Kharij outside Islam, stressing that Jerusalem must be a priority, warning of the development of new facts that may have devastating consequences.
He pointed out during his speech at the Arab American Islamic Summit in the Saudi capital Riyadh that Arabs and Muslims are the majority of victims of terrorism and extremists.
"We must find solutions to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and we can not survive in this situation," he said. "Jerusalem must be a priority and new facts should come with devastating results." "The protection of Jerusalem must be a priority," he said. "The holy city is a fundamental pillar in the relations between the followers of the three heavenly religions. In the same context, the Jordanian monarch said that the challenge for all to solve the Palestinian issue on the basis of the two-state solution, pointing out that the absence of the Palestinian cause destabilizes the security of the region.
"We must target values because the Islamic world is raising its voice to seek justice," he said.
"Terrorist groups do not represent a group that exists on the fringes of Islam, but they are totally out of it," he said.
