The first Iraqi pilot officer graduated from the US Air Force Academy

The Iraqi Air Force, in the presence of its commander, Air Force Commander Anwar Hamad Amin, celebrated the graduation of the first lieutenant of the US Air Force Academy to become the first Iraqi officer to graduate from the academy.
"The graduation ceremony was attended by the US Air Force Secretary, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces and the US Air Force Commander," a defense ministry statement said.
"The first lieutenant spent four years studying at the college and studied engineering there and was also a teacher on tg16 aircraft. The number of students graduating with the first lieutenant was close to 1000 students, including 14 students from 14 foreign countries."
He said that "the first lieutenant, one of the best in the college and received several certificates of appreciation, including the best teacher flying in a classroom."
