High trade deficit to $ 47 billion
The trade deficit rose by five percent in May, causing a fall in the trade balance in the amount of forty-seven billion dollars, the highest drop since last January.
The US Commerce Department said that the decline in the trade balance comes amid high inflation relative to the sixty-three billion dollars, and the proportion of the contribution of trade in the annual growth rate did not exceed one percent.
