Tom Trump has not set a red line for North Korea with consequences.
In an interview with the newspaper Washington Examiner, Posert said in response to the sharp tone used by the US president against North Korea that Trump "rationally did not specify red lines, is to ignore them out of sight."
"I think it is clear that the president wants to accompany his words with his actions and be more balanced as possible," he said. "Trump inherited the crisis over North Korea from the previous administration.
US President Donald Trump said recently that Pyongyang should not threaten Washington, threatening to respond to any attacks with "fire and anger, never seen by the world."
The North Korean Central News Agency later announced that the country's army had prepared a plan for a pre-emptive missile strike against US military targets on the Pacific island of Guam, including the Anderson base, where the B-52 strategic bombers are based.
