Affirmed the decision of the House of Representatives, Mohammed al-Khalidi said the proposed law regulating the affairs of the Turkmen will be presented on the agenda of the Council meeting next Monday.
Khalidi said that "the presidency of the Council of Ministers approved a law a long time ago, but the differences between the political forces prevented the display on the agenda of the Council."
He pointed out that terrorism targeting component Turkmen in Tuz district in order to offload the region of them, "adding that" passing a law regulating the affairs of the Turkmen will allow them to form a military force of their children to protect them from terrorist attacks are manufactured to the central government. "
The organization includes Turkmen affairs, cultural and administrative rights and nationalism just like any other Iraqi nationalities in education, and administration of schools and the consolidation of the Turkmen culture and learning in their mother tongue, in addition to the moral and legal rights granted by the constitution to them.
