Tomorrow's Press / Baghdad: Expect decision of Parliament Muhammad Khalidi, Monday, to witness the first days of next month, the first session of the new parliament, according to constitutional provisions and rules of procedure of the Council of Representatives of Iraq
Khalidi said for "tomorrow's Press," that "the meetings of the new House of Representatives will be held after the completion of the ratification of the election results, which are made through the judicial committee election and then go to the Presidency of the Republic in order to issue a presidential decree calling for the new Council of Representatives to convene a meeting chaired by the oldest member no later than 15 days from the date of approval. "
He said al-Khalidi said that "According to initial estimates of the judgments about the hearings the House of Representatives is expected to be the first hearings in the early days of the month of July and this is not inconsistent with paragraphs of the Constitution because of the age of the current parliament ends on the 13th of June the current."
The Electoral Commission announced, on 19 May, the current results of the parliamentary elections, where he received a coalition of state law, the highest proportion of 95 seats, and came in second place menus pectoral with 32 seats and then a coalition of citizen 29 seats and after the coalition united with 23 seats, as stated National coalition led by Iyad Allawi, in fifth place with 21 seats, while he finished sixth Kurdistan Democratic Party 19 seats shared with the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) center with 19 seats and then also a coalition of Arab nine seats.
