The Saudi monarch calls Trump and welcomes his "firm" strategy against Iran

The Saudi monarch, "Salman bin Abdul Aziz," on Sunday, a telephone call to US President "Donald Trump," in which he confirmed the Kingdom's support and welcome the strategy, "firm", announced by Washington on Iran.
The Saudi monarch praised the leading role of the American administration, which recognizes the magnitude of these challenges and threats, and stressed the need for concerted efforts and take firm positions on terrorism and extremism "and his first sponsor Iran."
For his part, Trump expressed his appreciation for the Saudi King's initiative and support, and stressed the United States' keenness to work with its allies to achieve security and world peace.
President Donald Rumsfeld on Friday announced his new strategy on Iran and Tehran's nuclear file, saying it aimed to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, supporting terrorism and destabilizing the Middle East and starting to impose tough sanctions against Iran's Revolutionary Guards.
