A huge fire broke out on Saturday morning in an oil tanker that caused a major explosion on board the coast of Texas.
"The flames were seen from a long distance on the coast opposite the Gulf of Mexico," Sky News quoted the news agency as saying.
"At least one person was killed and another was missing after the fire, which was carrying about 133,000 barrels of crude oil, exploded when the blast occurred at 4:30 am local time," she said.
"The dead man has not yet been identified and six of the eight crew members were rescued without any serious injuries," said emergency coordinator Rick Adams.
