The newspaper said that the UAE representative in the meeting promised to raise the Israeli flag next year 2018 in order to satisfy the Israeli team, which has been participating in the games there for more than a year.
For his part, the International Federation of Judo Sports (Jodo) posted on its Twitter page a picture of the gathering of the President of the UAE judo federation Mohammed bin Thaloub Salem Al Derai apologizing to his Israeli counterpart for not allowing the UAE to lift the Israeli symbols during the international championship.
