Iraq announced the largest budget in its history

At a time when the United Nations has warned of the increasing rates of poverty in Iraq, officially announced in Baghdad for the largest financial budget in the history of the country, as will the budget next year, according to the Minister of Planning Ali Shukri, about 174.6 trillion dinars, equivalent to 150.1 billion U.S. dollars.
Shukri is Acting Minister of Finance, confirmed the completion of work on a project draft law on the 2014 budget, where "was submitted to the Cabinet for approval to be later put it on the table of Parliament in order to pass." He added, "The projected deficit up to $ 27 billion, will be covered by the amounts retained from the 2013 budget."
According to figures, the next budget will increase from its predecessor by more than $ 30 billion, reaching the current year budget 138 trillion dinars (118.6 billion dollars). The announcement of this huge budget, came a day after one of the warning issued by the United Nations Mission (UNAMI), which revealed that the number of Iraqis living below the poverty line exceeded 6 million people, calling for a comprehensive plan for sustainable development.
While Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki recently in an interview televised, reducing the balance of the three presidencies (the Republic, Ministers, Parliament) confirmed the MP Magda al-Tamimi, a member of the Finance Committee, that "the paragraphs of the budget included the allocation of nearly 100 billion dinars for the presidency, and about 5 trillion counterbalance General the Council of Ministers, and 380 billion as a counterbalance to Parliament. " It also exceeded the amount allocated 15 billion dinars to pay off debts, local and international, including compensation to Kuwait by Saddam Hussein's invasion of Iraq's southern neighbor in August 1990.
