    Information / Baghdad ..
A senior Iraqi minister revealed on Wednesday that Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi rejected French and German proposals regarding the crisis with the Kurds, pointing out that the negotiations between Baghdad and Erbil reached a "dead end" amid the return of the military option to the forefront.
"The negotiations reached an impasse with the Kurds from last Thursday after Erbil refused to deploy the federal forces in the border region of Vishkhabur with Turkey and hand over management of the international ports of Iraq with the neighbors Iran and Turkey as well as the file of airports in the region, Erbil and Sulaymaniyah. "
The minister added that "the Prime Minister, Haider Abadi, rejected French and German proposals on the crisis, including leaving the situation as it is for the borders and airports and abandon the requirement to cancel the referendum on the referendum by a Kurdish official."
The minister pointed out that "Erbil's declaration of respect for the decision of the Federal Supreme Court (which considered the referendum on the secession of the province unconstitutional) is not enough," noting that "the military option returned to the forefront after procrastination and procrastination from Erbil, Therefore, Kurdish leaders are trying to put pressure on Baghdad through its relations with several European countries.
