A member of the Committee on Economy and Investment Representative Harith al-Harthy, on Wednesday, the need to engage the global planning companies to draw the Iraqi economy correctly after it became defiant, between the foreign borrowing policy adopted by the government will bind the economy of the country in the future.
"The foreign borrowing policy adopted by the government to cover the deficit in the state budget after the drop in oil prices will bind the economy of Iraq and will pay its bill for future generations," al-Harithi told Al-Harthy.
He added that "the state's economic policy faltering and unclear, which causes more waste of money without achieving the required development," stressing the "need to engage global planning companies to promote the economic reality and the development of a healthy and sound financial policy and good."
The country's economy suffers from a continuous decline in development as a result of the absence of industry and agriculture and dependence on foreign imports, as well as the state's reliance on oil rents in financial matters and covering the disbursement.
