    The spokesman for the US Department of Defense (Pentagon) for the Central Command, Eric Bahon, that all the American tanks that have been under the control of militias Shiite terrorist crowd during the last period was returned to the Iraqi army. 

    As for the American Abrams tanks provided to the Iraqi Army within the armament program over the past 10 years, Bahon said, "The United States did not provide any military equipment to the Popular Popular Terrorist Forces, but on several occasions we found that US military equipment, including Abrams tanks, , Where they were used by these groups in the war against an oppressive organization, and all this equipment was returned to Iraqi forces (Iraqi Army). " 
    He 
    said the Foreign and Defense Ministries of the Americas, are coordinating closely to make sure the arrival of military equipment to the Iraqi government.

    "We will continue to monitor the forces taking over US military equipment to ensure that this equipment remains exclusively in the hands of the forces we have handed over, and we will continue to press the Iraqi government to commit to keeping this US military equipment in its hands," the spokesman said. 

    Earlier this month, the US Department of Defense and the State Department acknowledged that the popular crowd had captured at least 9 US-made M-1 tanks.

    The spokesman for the US-led International Coalition in Iraq and Syria told the US Daily Daily in a report published on Wednesday, February 21, 2018: "We are aware that all the defense equipment provided by America is not under the control of the destination of the receipt; America to work with the Iraqi government to act as soon as possible; to ensure the presence of all defense equipment in the possession of the intended recipient, "adding that the Iraqi army recovered" many "of tanks. 

    The Popular Popular Terrorist Militia (M-1) used the US M-1 during control of Kirkuk on October 16, 2017. The Peshmerga forces then dealt a fatal blow to the tank and published pictures of the destroyed tank as evidence of the use of tanks by the Popular Forces.
