President Donald Trump has pushed ahead with a 25 percent tariff on steel imports and 10 percent on aluminum imports, but has excluded Canada and Mexico, reversing earlier pledges that the fees will be imposed on all countries.
Trump said Thursday after the signing of the decision to dump steel and aluminum in the United States as "an attack on our country."
Trump told a press conference that the best result would be for companies to move to America, insisting that domestic production was necessary for national security considerations.
"If you do not want to pay taxes, come to your factories in the United States," he said
