A member of the Fed expects inflation to reach 2 percent in the third or fourth quarters

(Encyclopedia of this Day News | Iraq News ) - Direct: Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank in Atlanta ,said that the US economy is booming , which enhances the attainment of the central target inflation rate at 2% in the next quarter or the next.
In an interview with Bloomberg on Thursday, Rafael Bostic said he was very comfortable that the inflation rate would exceed 2 percent, to 2.2 percent or 2.3 percent, adding that his level was not a sharp rise in prices.
In February, the US inflation rate was 1.8 percent.
"According to this forecast, it is likely to raise interest rates three times this year.
In March, the Fed decided to raise interest rates for the first time this year, with expectations that it would raise it by another two times until the end of 2018.
