    Fatah MP Nahla al-Habbabi revealed on Wednesday the exploitation of state funds by campaigning by some of the candidates' ministers who were sacked because of corrupt files and exploited public funds.
    "Many ministers who were dismissed by the parliament in the period prior to the existence of files of administrative and financial corruption proved their thefts were nominated in the lists of elections for the purpose of returning to power," she said. "The money that was stolen from the ministries of state was spent on their campaigns "He said.
    She added that "many of the lists participating in the parliamentary elections, including many of the ministers and political figures have been sacked because of administrative and financial corruption," surprising "from spending large sums of money on election campaigns at a time when the country suffers from austerity and deprivation."
