The border crossing authority announced on Thursday that it has collected 50 thousand dinars in fees for each wheel entering Iraq.
"The fees that were imposed under the regulations issued by the border crossing authority based on the budget law for 2017, Article 24 (a), where the approval of the Ministry of Finance has been approved by the Economic Affairs Committee To the criteria of differentiation used in the selection of service companies. "
He added that "the employment of workers in the port was regulated by legal contracts for services provided by the service office (opening the door to facilitate monitoring and inspection) in return for collecting the amount of (000'50) thousand Iraqi dinars for each wheel, most of which go to the port for the purposes of infrastructure development And for the purpose of tiling streets and squares and the other part of the revenue goes to the treasury of the state.
He explained that "these amounts were collected randomly and take the interest of some of the beneficiaries at the border crossings without being reflected in the working budget of the State, the official spokesman in the name of the border crossings."
