    [rtl]The Arab Committee to address the Israeli candidacy for a non-permanent seat in the Security Council for the years 2019-2020 held a meeting on Monday at the level of permanent delegates at the Arab League headquarters in Cairo, headed by Iraq's delegate to the Arab League Habib al-Sadr.[/rtl]


    [rtl]Assistant Secretary-General for Palestine and Arab Lands at the University, Ambassador Said Abu Ali, said in a statement that "the Arab efforts to address the Israeli candidacy and the measures taken in this regard were reviewed."[/rtl]


    [rtl]Abu Ali stressed "raising a number of recommendations and suggestions to Member States in order to intensify and mobilize more Arab efforts aimed at thwarting the Israeli candidacy."[/rtl]


    [rtl]For his part, Palestinian Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League Diab Al-Louh said that "the committee discussed the necessity of unifying the Arab diplomatic efforts to confront this Israeli expansion through strengthening the bilateral and multilateral relations between the Arab countries and the regional and international groupings."[/rtl]


    [rtl] He pointed out that "the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants Riyad al-Maliki made a strong diplomatic efforts in this regard, pointing out that Palestine will surround the Committee at the next meeting, this movement to be integrated with the mobility of Iraq (the presidency of the Committee) and other countries, to complement efforts and succeed in preventing the win Israel has a non-permanent seat on the Security Council.
