Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Israel would not allow Iran to turn Syria into a base against it.
"Israel has hit all of Iran's infrastructure in Syria and hopes that this chapter is over," Lieberman said at a Herzliya security conference near Tel Aviv. He said no Iranian missiles had landed inside Israeli-controlled territory.
He said: "I hope that we have finished this chapter and that everyone has understood the message," stressing that Tel Aviv does not want to escalate the situation.

Israeli Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman said Israel would not allow Iran to turn Syria into a base against it.
