Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi was invited to participate in the Oslo Forum to be held in Norway next June.
"Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers Mahdi Al-Alak received on Thursday the Norwegian Ambassador to Iraq Elisabeth Al-Rayes, who is not resident in Baghdad, to discuss ways to strengthen the course of bilateral relations to achieve the interests of the two friendly countries," the Secretariat of the Council of Ministers said in a statement.
The statement added that "the ambassador invited the Prime Minister to participate in the Oslo Forum to be held in Norway next June," stressing her country's continued "to support all efforts to rebuild and build Iraq and open the investment horizons between the two countries."
The Oslo Forum is a series of meetings on international conflicts involving high-level decision-makers and other actors in the peace process. Ending / 25
