The parliamentary legal committee, Saturday, an agreement between the political blocs and the Presidency of the House of Representatives not to submit a petition to the Federal Court on the extension of the work of Parliament, indicating that the Constitution does not allow the Parliament to extend its work even for one day from the date of termination of work.
"The Presidency of the Council of Representatives and political blocs agreed not to submit a request or petition to the Federal Court on the extension of the work of parliament after the expiration of the constitutional age on July 1 next."
Said said that "can not find a legal way to extend the work of parliament because the Constitution provides and an explicit form on the expiration of the life of the House of Representatives after four years from the date of meeting and this will happen."
Said said that "parliament has completed most of its functions, especially the audit of the election results and the accounting of counterfeiters and the restoration of political conditions to normal things and is waiting for the new commission to announce the results." Ending / 25 d
