German Interior Minister: I can no longer work with Merkel

German Interior Minister Horst Sieffer said he could no longer work with Chancellor Angela Merkel, citing her poor immigration policy.
According to German newspapers, Minister Sehofer, who leads the CSU party, Merkel's main ally, the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), told all the friends he could no longer work with Angela Merkel.
"I can no longer work with this woman," the newspaper quoted the politician as saying literally.
Speaking on June 14 during a meeting with members of his Christian Social Union (CSU) party twice in the government, Seehover said he did not repeat it at a subsequent meeting of all party representatives in the government.
The conflict in the Bundestag continues to worsen between the Merkel-led Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Social Union (CSU) party led by its old ally, Sihofer. As the Welt am Sonntag newspaper points out, relations between the two parties are now saturated with "Mistrust and mutual accusations".
The reason for all these differences is the shaky immigration policy pursued by the federal chancellor. While Seahover claims that the German border guards, who are already registered in any EU country, should not enter Germany, Merkel replies that she believes this contradicts the European criteria for granting seek refuge.
The media suggest that the row between Merkel and Sihofer could lead to the collapse of the government coalition, which was built by the Chancellor narrowly after the results of the recent general elections, not desired by Merkel's ships.
