The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday unveiled weapons and military equipment seized during operations of the Arab Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen, proving Iran's involvement in supporting the Huthi militias.

The UAE armed forces have offered a variety of weapons, including missiles, drones, fuel tanks for Scud missiles and "innovative mines," which came in the form of cooking pots, rocks and cans of water, the UAE news agency WAM reported.

She said that these weapons are a small part of the quantities seized by the coalition forces and were transferred to the State in full coordination with the relevant United Nations organizations and agencies.

Talal Mohammed Al-Taniji, Director of the Executive Office of the Commodities and Commodities Control Committee, said that the United Nations bodies concerned with the follow-up to the implementation of resolutions 2216 and 2231 have recently completed the preparation of a report to monitor new evidence proving the involvement of Iran and its Huthi militias. And that the coordination between the coalition and the teams and the relevant international bodies is going on at a high rate, especially with regard to the exchange of information on violations of Iran and the Houthi militias of the two resolutions.

He added that the coordination ensures that the Arab coalition forces and the UAE armed forces follow all international procedures and standards for the seizure, transport and storage of confiscated weapons and equipment.

He explained that the use of the Persian language on these weapons alongside the Iranian-made components and systems consistent with weapons documented by the agents of Iran in Iraq, Syria and other countries, which confirms the involvement of Iran in support of the Houthi militias.

He stressed that the UAE has received commendations from the United Nations organs for its cooperation and provide conclusive evidence of Iran's involvement and violation of UN resolutions related to the smuggling of weapons.

Al-Taniji said that the measures adopted by the UAE came within the framework of its concern to ensure the safety of civilians and innocent people in Yemen, especially with the growing capabilities of the Huthi militias, in addition to tampering with the use of these weapons and mines which no longer distinguish between military and civilian targets, Roads and places nearby that are difficult to identify except through specialized teams.

WAM quoted an arms expert from the UAE armed forces as saying that the Arab coalition forces led by Saudi Arabia are keen to neutralize land and sea mines to save the lives of Yemenis, while making double efforts to train Yemeni resistance forces to deal with those mines.

He stressed the keenness of the Arab coalition forces to eliminate the practices and criminal acts of the Houthi militias and to end their futility and threaten the international shipping and trade routes in Yemen.

The armed forces of the UAE offered a number of confiscated weapons, including Ababil aircraft used in the operations of photography and suicide operations, and "Sniper Hunter 2" .. And anti-tank missiles .. And mines and innovative packaging .. And a suicide boat was used by the militias Houthi and could not be brought for security reasons As well as images of fuel tanks used to launch Scud missiles,
