The Minister of Industry during the meeting, "the depth of fraternal relations between Iraq and Jordan," stressing the "need to upgrade economic relations between the two parties, which contribute to the development and development of the national economy."
Al-Sudani called on "Jordanian businessmen and Jordanian companies to work with the companies of the Ministry of Industry and Minerals and to contribute actively to building a sophisticated industrial base in Iraq and to achieve industrial integration between them."
During the meeting, the Jordanian Minister of Industry and the Jordanian Ambassador discussed "the developments of the establishment of a joint industrial city on the Iraqi-Jordanian border, the measures taken in this regard, the subject of customs duties on Jordanian goods and the procedures followed in this regard and other topics of common concern."
For his part, the Jordanian ambassador expressed "his country's desire to work together with Iraq and increase cooperation and coordination in order to reach results that meet the interests of the two brotherly countries."
He stressed "the readiness of investors and businessmen to work in Iraq and the establishment of future projects promising to achieve the aspirations of the Iraqi and Jordanian peoples."
