The General Company for the transport of passengers and delegations, one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport on Tuesday, the opening of three new lines of internal transport in the capital Baghdad.
The general manager of the company, Abdullah Laibi Bahad, said in a press statement that the interior department was instructed to open new lines through the company's double-decker buses, especially in densely populated areas that need mass transport.
He added that three lines have been opened, starting from the new Baghdad to the Al-Bayaa area. The second line starts from Al-Andalus Square towards Al-Amana garage to New Baghdad.
He added that the company has been able in recent period to open many of the lines of internal transport, which contribute significantly to the service of citizens within the capital Baghdad.
