Kurdistan Democratic Party candidate Fuad Hussein revealed on Thursday that the deputy chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (NDP) Nechirvan Barzani and leader of [url=https://www.thebaghdadpost.com/ar/Story/t/2008/%D8%A7%D9%84%D8%A7%D8%AA%D8%AD%D8%A7%D8%AF %D8%A7%D9%84%D9%88%D8%B7%D9%86%D9%8A]the Patriotic Union of[/url] Kurdistan, Pavel Talabani reached a bilateral agreement to submit one candidate for the presidency of Iraq to the Iraqi parliament. "Having been nominated for the post of President of the Republic of Iraq, by the leader Massoud Barzani and with the support of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (Parti), and based on our understanding that the competitive process on this position will be within the entitlement of the representatives of the Kurdistan Region in Baghdad or under agreement between the two competing parties, In the events to contribute to the creation of a sound ground for the electoral process, and we were very pleased when the brother, Nzhirvan Barzani, the deputy chairman of the Kurdistan Democratic Party and Mr. Pavel Talabani, a bilateral agreement to submit one candidate for the presidency of Iraq to Parliament Iraqi, has been crowned this agreement about two hours before the parliamentary session.
However, in conjunction with the parliamentary session, we were surprised that the other party did not withdraw its candidate from the electoral process. Moreover, they entered into numerous alliances with the various Iraqi forces, ignoring the formula agreed upon between them. The other side did not fulfill what they promised, From us the right of the Kurdish component in the selection of candidate for the presidency of Iraq, we decided to withdraw from the nomination.
After this brief explanation of our belief that it is necessary to announce to everyone the facts and the secrets of things, I would like to take this opportunity to extend my thanks and gratitude to the leader Massoud Barzani to honor him for my candidacy for this site, and I extend my thanks to the dear brother Najirvan Barzani and his delegation to take the trouble to travel to Baghdad and their supervision and participation in the discussions I also thank all the members of the Party Political Bureau and all the members and supporters of this party, and I thank the active team that accompanied me during my tour in Baghdad because they were honest to me and to have intensive media events I would also like to thank the hundreds and even thousands of people from inside Iraq and the various components of their solidarity with us. I thank many friends from abroad and from different nationalities for supporting us. I also express my thanks to the media. From the region and Iraq
In conclusion, we say that we worked during our long struggle for the unity of the Kurdish class and for the principles and values that we believed in. Therefore, I believe that it is the right and duty of all of us to protect the unity of the Kurdistani class. Finally, Kurdistan, and blessed all of us this democratic wedding. "
