The Interior Ministry on Thursday called on the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers to immediately intervene and urge the relevant institutions to resolve the problems related to the national card project and provide the necessary facilities for the success of the project in Baghdad and the governorates.
A source in the ministry "Al-Ghad Press" that "the claim included resolving the problems related to the building market Tuesday, which calls for the Ministry of Commerce to be vacated by the draft national card, which affects the issuance of cards to a large segment of the citizens of the province of Baghdad."
He added that "many ministries and government institutions still show their lack of seriousness in implementing the pillars of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, considering the national card as an official custodian, and the failure of these institutions to provide the national card project needs for the devices of digital card reader for the purpose of providing, To train representatives of ministries to use them. "
He pointed out that "most ministries and institutions do not cooperate in standardizing the procedures in line with the requirements of the national project by including the national number field in forms or correspondence in order to integrate the data on the basis of considering the national number. The electronic government".
The source said that "the claim included directing the provincial administrations, the need to cooperate with the project, through the provision of appropriate buildings for the purpose of opening centers for the issuance of the national card, and provide services to a larger segment of citizens."
