[rtl]Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Gawishoglu revealed new details about the killing of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi in his consulate in Istanbul on October 2.[/rtl]

[rtl]In an interview with the Qatari daily Asharq Al-Awsat on the sidelines of his participation in the 18th Doha Forum, Gawish Ogleo warned that criminal investigations by his country's authorities on crime are open and transparent. The indictment is expected to be issued when the evidence is completed.[/rtl]

[rtl]He urged the Saudi authorities to inform Turkey of any information on the whereabouts of Jamal Khashoggi's body, the perpetrators and their masterminds, stressing that Khashoggi's murder was a criminal rather than a political issue.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Turkish foreign minister stressed that his country will not turn a blind eye to the murder of a consular mission in Turkey, explaining that there is no contradiction between the demand for accountability for the crime and maintain relations with Saudi Arabia at the same time.[/rtl]

[rtl]He denied Saudi claims that Turkey was not responding. "The Saudis' claims that we do not meet their requests for information are incorrect," he said.[/rtl]

[rtl]He stressed that the international community was disappointed in the Saudi authorities deal with the issue, revealing that the authorities of Turkey assess the possibility of conducting an international investigation or a fact-finding committee on the issue of Khashoggi.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Saudi Public Prosecutor's Office announced that it had charged 11 people in the case of the death of Jamal Khashoggi, 21 of them, and filed a criminal case against them, with the demand for the execution of five of them ordered and committed the crime and the imposition of legal sanctions against the rest.[/rtl]

[rtl]The Saudi prosecutor said last month that the investigation showed the death of Saudi national Jamal Khashoggi during a quarrel at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. The Public Prosecutor's Office confirmed that its investigations into this case are continuing with the detainees in custody of the case, the number of which so far 18 people, all of Saudi nationality, in preparation for reaching all the facts and declare, and hold all those involved in this case and bring them to justice.[/rtl]
