The Sacramento Bee website reported that eyewitnesses observed this phenomenon after the launch of a rocket from the Wandenberg air base in Santa Barbara was canceled.
The launch of the missile was canceled at the same time as the strange lights.
It is not clear whether this is related to the emergence of the lights or not
