The Ministry of Oil announced the increase in the production of liquid gas to the Basrah Gas Company to 4,814 thousand tons per day.
"The production of liquid gas for the Basrah Gas Company in the south of the country has risen to unprecedented levels, where it exceeded the rate of (4,814) thousand tons per day," ministry spokesman Assem Jihad said in a statement received by Mawazine News.
Jihad stressed that "this is an important step to strengthen the national production of liquid gas fuel to self-sufficiency on the one hand, and to strengthen foreign exports on the other, and to achieve the highest financial return."
He added that "the Deputy Prime Minister for Energy and Minister of Oil Thamer Abbas Ghadhban has valued the efforts of workers in the Gas Company of Basra," and called them to "
