    The Holy Mass, presided over by the pope of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, began at the Zayed Sports City in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi, amid the attendance of thousands of faithful from various parts of the UAE and abroad.

    On Monday evening, the world witnessed the signing of the two religious poles of the brotherhood of humanity at Zayed Foundation, in the presence of UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid and Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed.

    More than 135,000 people from around the world are expected to attend the Papal Mass, the largest gathering in the UAE, according to sources familiar with the organization.

    The main platforms of Zayed Sports City are home to more than 60,000 people, more than 85,000 people in the surrounding areas, and plans to accommodate all attendees if the numbers increase.

    "The Supreme Committee has completed its preparations for the reception of His Holiness Pope Francis and the participants in the Holy Mass according to the highest international standards in terms of ease of movement and all logistical services," said Khalfan Mohammed Al Mazrouei, a member of the Liturgy Committee.

    He added that "there are full plans for the flow of delegations from within and outside the country, in addition to providing all the facilities of the owners and the elderly."

    "A huge display has been installed throughout the stadium to witness this important event, as well as a festive atmosphere to coincide with the historic Mass and the opportunity for participation by all from all emirates of the State and beyond," said Aisha Al Bakoush, .

    It is expected that thousands of all the communities living in the UAE will participate in the mass, reflecting the atmosphere of love and brotherhood and a strong message from the land of human brotherhood through the symbol of peace to the world and the need to join together in love and cooperation with hearts full of noble feelings.

    The Pope of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, and Sheikh Ahmed al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, signed Monday the "Human Brotherhood" document in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi during the humanitarian brotherhood meeting hosted by Zayed Foundation. 
    Sheikh Al-Azhar said in a speech to the audience that the whole world is witnessing the launch of the document of human brotherhood and its call to spread the culture of peace and respect for others and achieve prosperity instead of a culture of hatred, injustice and violence. 
    He added that the document calls on world leaders and policy makers and their own fate of the people to intervene immediately to stop the bloodshed and loss of life and put an immediate end to the conflicts and strife and wars of futility.
    "The joint document is an appeal to every living conscience that renounces extremism and to every lover of tolerance and fraternity," he said, calling on "those who hold in their hearts a belief in God and humanity" to work together to become a guide for future generations to take them to a culture of peace and mutual respect. 
    For his part, Pope Francis said that the document will be a testimony to the greatness of faith in God that unites the scattered hearts and elevates man. "I have thought with the great Imam in the place of its launch, and we chose Abu Dhabi to encourage this distinctive model of human brotherhood and promote interfaith tolerance at this time, Where millions of people from the world are being persecuted. "

    The "Humanitarian Brothers Meeting" kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Monday evening with an opening ceremony and a video presentation of the historic event. 
    The Sheikh Zayed Mosque in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi hosted a historic meeting between the Pope of the Catholic Church, Pope Francis, Sheikh Al-Azhar, Ahmed Tayeb. 
    The visit is the first of its kind. The two major religious symbols chose the land of the UAE to hold a historic summit in the "Human Brothers Meeting" and discuss ways to promote coexistence between religions and different faiths.
