The Council of Ministers approves the draft amendment of the law of seizure and confiscation of funds of the former regime
Cabinet decided Tuesday to approve the draft of the First Amendment to the law seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property belonging to the staff of the former regime.
The Prime Minister's Office said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, "The Council of Ministers held its regular session on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Adel Abdul-Mahdi, and discussed several decisions, including the rehabilitation of the site of burying al-Buaiha in the presence of Amina Baghdad, and address pollution in the Tigris River, Topics that the government has given attention since its formation. The Council of Ministers decided, according to the statement, "to include the suspended investment projects and various economic sectors listed in the investment budget tables of the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 342 for the year 2018, and voted to increase the capital of the General Company of Iraqi Ports (one of the formations of the Ministry of Transport).
The Council also decided to "approve the draft law of the first amendment to the law of seizure and confiscation of movable and immovable property belonging to the pillars of the former regime No. (72) for the year 2017," and approved the "draft cooperation agreement between the governments of the Republic of Iraq and the Federal Republic of Germany in the transfer of those sentenced to negative sentences Freedom ".
