    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - 
    Transport Minister Abdullah Loibi on Tuesday chaired the Iraqi delegation participating in the 81st session of the Committee on Internal Transport of the Economic and Social Council in Europe at the UN headquarters in Geneva. 
    The Minister of Transport expressed his pleasure to attend this meeting in order to put forward the aspirations and plans of the Iraqi Ministry of Transport to implement automation in all modes of transport, whether land, sea or air. 
    The Minister outlined the challenges facing the weak use of modern technology. 
    And not to link the formations of the ministry all over Iraq with each other and with the status of the ministry. 
    "The weakness of continuous maintenance of the system as well as infrastructure because of the scarcity of financial resources and thus the ministry needs to update the system of customer service Central CRM."
    At the end of the speech, the minister said he hoped to respond to these proposals and that the ministry is serious to achieve all the requirements of modern technology to improve the work. 
    The meeting was attended by high-level government delegations attended by transport ministers, undersecretaries and senior officials from Arab, European, Asian and African countries.

    According to a statement by the minister's office, "This came during the meeting of the Minister of the International Union of Road Transport (IRU) Secretary General Alberto de Berto, on the sidelines of the 81st meeting of the Committee on Internal Transport of the European Economic and Social Council in Geneva."

    Transport Minister Abdullah Loibi, the Iraqi delegation participating in the 81st session of the Committee on Internal Transport of the Economic and Social Council in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. 

    During the meeting, the minister reviewed the challenges facing the weak use of modern technology and the lack of linking the ministry's formations all over [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] with each other as well as with the ministry's position. 

    "The weak maintenance of the system and the infrastructure because of the lack of financial resources has made the ministry need to modernize the central customer service system," he said.
